Dear Women of the World Partners,

This May E-Newsletter highlights the recently completed Women of the World, International website! This change marks a new season for WOTW!

At the end of 2025, I was challenged to refocus Women of the World back to its' original  mission, "Change A Woman, Change the World!" This refocus surprisingly came to me through some recent governmental and banking restrictions that had to do with our 501c3 non-profit business status. Although initially unnerving, through prayer I came to understand that rather than being combative or offended regarding the scrutiny WOTW was under, I was to welcome this as guidance from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was directing me by closing doors so that WOTW would return to what the Lord had originally spoken way back in January of 2002!

This new season first began with my own refocus as the leader of WOTW! As you are aware, I have a VERY BIG heart for people and their needs...and this heart is what the Lord has given to me. It beats to meet needs, to expand the gospel, to minister to the hurting, and to raise up leaders. But, this refocus from the Holy Spirit reminded me that WOTW is not called to do everything! There are many needs that cry for attention and response, and although these needs are very real, the Holy Spirit reminded me that WOTW was to remain committed to what He has called us to do!

Second, while with my WOTW partners at our January, 2026 Goa Retreat, I clearly explained to them that WOTW was returning to its' original mission. This meant WOTW would not be financing everything they desire or even need. I spoke very clearly and emphatically with them about how the WOTW mission would be about women and the world around them. There was much discussion about this, and afterwards all partners signed an agreement that all funding sent to them would be consistent with the WOTW mission: "Change A Woman, Change the World!"

Third, I chose to change the WOTW website to clearly communicate what WOTW is called to do. On the front page of the website our partners' nations are highlighted along with the story of WOTW. I want to encourage you to take some time and listen to the short video about how WOTW was birthed. If you don't know the story, it would benefit you to listen to it!

Because the new website marked this refocus, we decided to identify our partners relationship to WOTW in two groups: 1) Humanitarian Global Partners and, 2) Spiritual Development Global Partners. This was a significant change because the sensitive or restrictive nations WOTW works with only want WOTW to do humanitarian projects in their nation. Therefore, as we engage in these restrictive nations, we will focus on our humanitarian partners' projects in order to sustain a positive relationship. Although our Spiritual Development Global partners will remain partners, they are now required to facilitate women's empowerment programs through their churches or schools. Of course, this is secondary to their particular mission, not primary.

The WOTW website is now simpler and easier to use. The E-Newsletters you receive will also be posted on the blog tab so that they can be accessed and shared with others. A contact email is on the front page: womenoftheworldinternational@proton.me.

This email will be useful for people who are interested in receiving the monthly E-Newsletter, have questions about our organization, or want to invite a WOTW team to come to their church or organization. Further, the donation tab is clear and secure--don't be afraid to use it! In addition my book, "The Muscle Christian" can be ordered and my Doctoral Dissertation on women in leadership can be downloaded and reviewed on the "About Us--Meet the Team" tab.

This new website marks a new season for WOTW! We are excited about this new season, although it required much pruning on our part! Jesus speaks about pruning even the fruitful branches so that they bear more fruit for the Father's glory (John 15:2). I believe this pruning is what the Lord has done so that WOTW can enter into this new season!

I want to encourage you to peruse through the new WOTW website and also share it with others! The link for the new website is in the tab below!

Thank you so much for your faithful partnership. Please remember, even with these changes, your giving designations are always honored. We covet and appreciate your support and prayers! We look forward to the future and all the Lord has for us as we fervently obey Him!

With  much love, Dr. Lynn Willis
